South End bead jeweler provides gift to First Lady

Bead Me owner Linda Minor delivered a jewelry collection piece to Patrick Cannon on April 1st to be presented to President Obama as thank you gift for visiting Charlotte.

Linda Minor stated, "I’m thrilled to share one of my designs with Michelle Obama. Michelle is an important and special lady. I’m honored and I look forward to seeing Michelle wear my design."

The piece given to the First Lady is a handmade, one of a kind 24 inch necklace with 20mm cornflake pearls, 10mm cultured pearls, crystal cubes, sterling silver tubes, toggle and designer name tag. The handmade sterling silver ear wires have cornflake pearls, cultured pearls and crystals.
